Dr. Dyer is a native Rhode Islander who earned his medical degree from Brown University Medical School. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Dermatology at Brown Medical School affiliated training programs. He also earned a Master of Public Health degree, with a concentration in Quantitative Methods, from the Harvard School of Public Health. He is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Dyer has privileges at South County Hospital, Rhode Island Hospital, Miriam Hospital, the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Providence, and Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Dermatology Foundation, the American Medical Association, and the RI Medical Association. He is a volunteer attending dermatologist at the Rhode Island Hospital Dermatology Clinic. He is married with 3 adult children. He and his wife enjoy participating in the sport of triathlon and have completed the Ironman Lake Placid.
Nancy Soave, RN, DNC, is our skilled and compassionate registered nurse who has provided patient care in a variety of settings. Nancy works closely with Dr. Dyer, assisting him with the management of your medical, surgical and follow-up care. Most recently Nancy has specialized in dermatological nursing, including Mohs surgery, pre- and post-operative procedures, wound care, and skin-cancer prevention and education. She is a Board Certified Dermatology Nurse, and is one of only two nurses in Rhode Island, and one of only about 250 nurses nationwide, who have earned this prestigious certification. Nancy and her husband have three children.
Nicole Richard is our caring and attentive certified medical assistant. She works alongside Dr. Dyer, assisting him with all aspects of your care. Nicole has worked for several dermatolgists in Rhode Island; her extensive experience covers a broad range of tasks. Nicole and her husband have a two-year-old daughter.
Nancy Stonely is our devoted and diligent front-desk and billing professional. She helps patients with a variety of issues related to their visit to our office. She joins us after spending nearly twenty years working as the office manager for a busy Rhode Island dermatology practice. Nancy and her husband have two daughters.
Laura Buco is our pleasant and efficient front desk specialist. She answers the phone, schedules appointments, verifies insurance coverage, and checks in patients for their visit. She brings several years of managerial-level experience to our office. She lives with her partner and his 10-year-old daughter.
